Northland College had an existing soccer stadium located in the SW quadrant of the campus. The existing Stadium field did not meet NCAA requirements for official size. In addition, the Stadium had minimal player and spectator amenities and use was seasonally restricted due to clayey soils and poor drainage. Northland College retained Rettler Corporation to provide design and construction services for the following improvements:

• NCAA compliant rubber infield synthetic turf competition field for soccer, lacrosse, football, intramural and other Campus events.

• 1,000 seat grandstand structure connected to a concession / restroom/storage / press box building.

• Sport field lighting facilities for the athletic field. Four (4) 80′ high light standards with cut-off fixtures to control light spill are proposed.

• Site amenities include perimeter walkways, fencing, lighting, landscaping, flags and scoreboard.
